MISSION
Indigenous Healing Arts Alliance is a prevention and early intervention program helping Native American youth heal through therapeutic arts; restoring and empowering Indigenous youth to improve their lives and their Nation.
IHAA provides training to mental health professionals in schools, social service and behavioral health agencies both on and off reservations, to educate and train mental health professionals, school counselors and teachers in the highly effective Art Therapy and Neurodevelopmental Art Therapy trauma treatment for Native youth. We are collaborating with mental health, social service, and education agencies to implement art therapy programs, consulting and supporting the development of art therapy programs as an adjunct curriculum within the education system and mental health on reservations nationwide.
